Materials Purchasing Manager

Our proprietary solid-state battery technology will allow us to develop and commercialise safe, high performance and affordable products for a diverse portfolio of customers, from mobility, stationary energy storage and consumer electronics.

To this end, we offer the position of Materials Purchasing Manager


The Materials Purchasing Manager will join the Purchasing team reporting to the Head of Purchasing and giving support on:

  • To search for and evaluate tentative candidates suppliers.
  • To lead RFQ, analyse and evaluate suppliers offers, negociate the terms & conditions and propose best Quality/Cost/Timing option compatible with project budget/planning.
  • To develop sustainable, win-win relations with suppliers, securing purchasing operations with transparence and trust.
  • To continuously monitor selecrted suppliers, reacting to deviations and supporting panel management.
  • RFQ Materials for working on the scale up of the project and massive production.
  • Search and evaluate different suppliers with the focus put on a massive production scenario.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual capable of taking up this challenging opportunity to develop an ambitious project. Applicants should have a high degree of initiative, flexibility and should be open to intense interdisciplinary collaboration, first in an early-stage start-up but moving progressively to an efficient mid-size organisation.


Specifically, we will assess expertise in the following aspects:

  • Technical / Superior Engineering Degree
  • 5 years of experiences as materials buyer in the batteries / chemical industrial sector at worldwide level. Knowledge of Supply chain and experience working on Asian markets is a plus.
  • Financial / Cost control training is a plus
  • English mandatory, Spanish, French or German a plus.
  • MS Excel and SAP expertise.
  • Good empathy and negotiation skills. Problem solving and strategic thinking mindset to grow with and inside the company.
