Basquevolt, present in the second edition of the Green Cities Forum 2023

Basquevolt has participated, this Wednesday 5th of July,  in the roundtable of the second edition of the Green Cities Forum 2023; celebrated at the Europe Palace of Vitoria-Gasteiz.

This event, launched last year by the Diario de Noticias de Álava in commemoration of the tenth anniversary of the appointment of Vitoria-Gasteiz as a Green Capital, had as the motto of this edition “Cities, by and for the citizens”.

Words that evoke the values behind our own motto #ShareYourPower; since that’s how we are working towards the fulfillment of our vision of building a more sustainable future: starting from and aiming our efforts on the people; relying on collaboration and solidarity to be able to face the environmental challenges and promote social responsibility. As the moderator Olga Rivera remarked at the round table on "The commitment of key sectors of the economy to the present and future of Álava":“(Basquevolt) has clearly understood that the environmental challenge is a very clear opportunity not only for business but also for the improvement of the fabric of the economic future that this region is going to have”.

A statement reinforced by Aimar Mendaza, Engineering Manager of our Processes Department, who participated as a speaker: “as a Vitorian and member of Basquevolt, I feel that the words that define my situation today are hope and pride”.
