Data, Cloud & Cybersecurity Lead (IT/OT & Digitalization)

Your role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and multidisciplinary professional to join our team like Data, Cloud & Cybersecurity Lead. This hybrid role integrates leadership in data value chain management, cloud infrastructure operations, and IT/OT cybersecurity engineering. You will drive data strategy, secure infrastructure, and digital transformation across industrial and corporate environments.

This role requires a forward-thinking mindset, technical expertise across both cloud and industrial systems, and a strong ability to align digital architecture with business value and continuity.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Data Strategy & Value Chain Ownership
  • Lead full data lifecycle: acquisition, ingestion, storage, processing, analysis, and visualization
  • Build and maintain cloud-native data pipelines and architectures (AWS, Python, Glue, S3, Redshift)
  • Design and develop dashboards using BI tools (e.g. Power BI, QuickSight, Tableau)
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to generate actionable, value-oriented insights
  • Ensure data governance, integrity, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, DLP)
  1. IT/OT Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering
  • Operate and improve hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS multi-account environments, Proxmox, Veeam)
  • Administer and optimize Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and Conditional Access
  • Lead the integration and operation of Microsoft Defender for IoT, Sentinel SIEM, and EDR solutions
  • Maintain and secure on-prem and industrial (OT) infrastructure, including Siemens and Fortinet appliances
  • Design scalable and resilient hybrid IT/OT architectures, focusing on operational continuity
  1. Cybersecurity & Compliance
  • Implement and enforce Zero Trust security models, micro-segmentation, and certificate-based access
  • Develop and maintain BCP, DRP, and NIS2-aligned cybersecurity policies and procedures
  • Map and protect critical OT assets in collaboration with industrial teams
  • Continuously improve the security posture through automation, monitoring, and proactive threat mitigation
  • Administer DLP policies using Microsoft Purview and ensure secure data lifecycle practices
  1. Automation & DevOps
  • Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, and PowerShell
  • Implement and support RPA technologies to streamline routine tasks
  • Develop infrastructure as code workflows for scalability and reliability
  1. Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and analysts
  • Act as a liaison between IT, OT, data, and business stakeholders
  • Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation (network diagrams, protocols, runbooks)

Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement

Requisitos

Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, RDS, Glue, Redshift)
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure AD / Entra ID, Microsoft Purview
  • Experience with EDR, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for IoT, and network segmentation
  • Skilled in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD (GitLab)
  • Strong Python and PowerShell scripting for automation and integration
  • Hands-on with Proxmox, Veeam, Fortinet firewalls/switches, and Siemens OT hardware
  • Solid understanding of OT/ICS security, industrial protocols, and compliance (NIS2, ISO, etc.)

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Organized, proactive, and goal-oriented
  • Fluent in English (professional level) and Spanish highly desired.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building IT/OT infrastructure from scratch
  • Familiarity with industrial cybersecurity frameworks (ISA/IEC 62443, NIST, etc.)
  • Experience in SMEs or industrial manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery planning

Background in supporting both operations and data/BI environments
