QUALITY ENGINEER

Main functions

Implementing Quality Procedures and Instructions:

  • Lead quality assurance activities across process development, industrialization, launch, and serial production.
  • Define inspection standards based on product specifications and critical process requirements
  • Develop and deliver quality training on tools, standards, and best practices.
  • Conduct internal, cross‑functional, and process audits to ensure adherence to standards and customer requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing performance
  • Design, monitor and analyze quality KPIs related to product quality and process efficiency and drive corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate effectively in cross‑functional teams (production, engineering, supply chain, RD)
  • Establish and maintain Control Plans to ensure critical features are controlled and monitored.

Driving Manufacturing Projects and Opportunities:

  • Apply core quality tools including FMEA, SPC, 8D, QRQC, and Six Sigma.
  • Perform root cause analysis and lead structured problem‑solving activities
  • Capture, document, and transfer lessons learned to improve future processes
  • Support APQP and PPAP activities to ensure product and process readiness.
  • Support risk assessment activities, including customer‑specific and warranty requirements.

Requisitos

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering).
  • Around 5 years of professional experience in the chemical or manufacturing industry. Prior experience in a battery company is a plus.
  • Proven experience with Quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, 8D, Six Sigma, and QRQC.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, particularly ISO 9001.
  • Experience with IATF 16949, or VDA standards (6.3, 6.7, 19.1, 19.2). Familiarity with APQP and PPAP is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup and fast-paced environment and multicultural teams.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
