FINANCE TECHNICIAN

The Finance Technician is a key member of our finance team, responsible for various tasks related to accounting, and grant management.

Main functions

1. Accounting Activities:

• Posting invoices in the ERP system, matching them with the delivery notes and attaching payment receipts.
• Purchasing approval process follow up
• Sending the invoices through the SII system (Sistema de Información Inmediata)
• Follow up of the Fixed Assets in the ERP system (correct definition and depreciation process)
• Posting certain low-value service expenses in the ERP system.
• Matching VISA movements with invoices and/or expenses
• Completing INTRASTAT declarations

2. Grant-related Activities:

Preparation of Proposals:

• Managing the preparation of proposal documentation: powers of attorney, tax identification numbers (NIF), Social Security certificates, tax certificates, etc.

Project Justification Activities:

• Generating reports from the ERP system.
• Compiling invoices and payment receipts, ensuring traceability of which invoices have been used for which justifications.
• Collecting personal data: Name, ID, Qualifications, CV, etc.
• Completing and tracking Time Sheets, allocating project dedication considering holidays, absences, etc.
• Providing support during project cost audits.
• General support to Public Funding Team.

WHAT WE NEED

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting and finance, an understanding of ERP systems, proficiency in Excel, and a good command of the English language.

The ideal candidate will be a professional with a higher vocational degree (Formación Profesional de Grado Superior) and some experience in finance-related tasks, or a recent graduate with a university degree in Business Administration and Management, eager to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting.
