BASQUEVOLT Launches BQV400L, a new benchmark for European battery cells
The BQV400L delivers 402 Wh/kg gravimetric energy density, 27 Ah capacity, NMC lithium-metal chemistry and 8.9C pulse power capability, positioning it among the most capable available cells manufactured in Europe. Produced in Spain with 75% of its components sourced within Europe, the BQV400L has achieved a safety certification of HL3 and is available to customers now. These safety and performance results are currently being independently validated by a third-party battery testing laboratory.

BASQUEVOLT, a European technology company specialised in next-generation solid-state battery technology, today announced the entry of Axon Partners Group, through its ClimateTech investment strategy supported by Ventures EPM, into its shareholding structure as a investor, together with complementary public funding through a CDTI (Centre for the Development of Technology and Innovation) with its SICC Innvierte match‑funding scheme.

In this role, he will lead BASQUEVOLT’s global customer programs team, supporting partners as they integrate the company’s solid-state battery technology from early validation through pre-industrial development and future commercial deployment.
