The R&D project carried out by BASQUEVOLT entitled "Service Architecture for Renewable Energy and Storage technologies for public DC grids" has been co-financed by the Basque Government and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund 2021-2027 (ERDF).
ASTRA-CC is a project that aims to research into the technologies and components necessary for the development of an electrical grid architecture that facilitates storage and accelerates the integration of applications and services associated with renewable energy systems in public direct current grids.
This is a multi-annual strategic industrial research collaboration project (2023-2025) involving the following entities and/or agents of the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network: I-DE REDES ELECTRICAS INTELIGENTES, S.A. (leader), ORMAZABAL ELECTRIC, S.L.U., MERYTRONIC, S.L., CEGASA ENERGÍA, S.L.U., ZIGOR CORPORACIÓN, S.A., BASQUEVOLT, S.A., UNIVERSIDAD DEL PAÍS VASCO/EUSKAL HERRIKO UNIBERTSITATEA, IKERLAN S.C.L., FUNDACIÓN TECNALIA RESEARCH AND INNOVATION, CENTRO DE INVESTIGACIÓN COOPERATIVA EN ENERGÍAS ALTERNATIVAS CIC ENERGIGUNE FUNDACIÓN.
