SOLIDBAT Project has been granted
The collaborative R&D project in which BASQUEVOLT is participating, entitled ‘Research into solid-state cell battery modules and packs (SOLIDBAT)’, has been co-financed by the Basque Government and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund 2021-2027 (ERDF).
SOLIDBAT aims to research new technological solutions that enable specific modules and battery packs to be obtained using solid-state cell technology, which have unique and highly demanding specificities and requirements depending on their application.
So-called ‘battery packs’ are a set of batteries connected together to provide a specific amount of energy for a specific application, such as electric vehicles.
SOLIDBAT is a collaborative industrial research project of a multi-year strategic nature (2024-2026), in which different companies and technology centres of the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network are participating, including: FAGOR EDERLAN GROUP, S. COOP. (Leader); EB BATTERY SOLUTIONS, S.L.; ORKLI, S. COOP.; MATZ-ERREKA, S.COOP; MONDRAGÓN ASSEMBLY, S.COOP; BASQUEVOLT, S.A.; CIRCULAR REPLAY, S.L., IKERLAN, KONIKER, S. COOP., TECNALIA, CEIT, STIRLING CENTRE, EDERTEK, CIC ENERGIGUNE.
