We are looking for a People Specialist to cover a long-term absence in the department.
PEOPLE SPECIALIST (TEMPORARY CONTRACT)
Your role
The People Specialist at Basquevolt is responsible not only of managing the recruitment process but also in enhancing the employer brand, representing the company at events, fostering internal talent retention, creating development programs, and digitizing HR operations. This role encompasses various responsibilities aimed at attracting, developing, and retaining talent while optimizing HR processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Main tasks for the position would be:
- Be responsible for a full-cycle of recruitment in multiple areas, taking full responsibility for the entire process, from sourcing candidates (internally and externally) to report the progress to the different stakeholders and guide the candidates through the entire hiring process.
- Design and implement talent development programs, including mentorship initiatives, training workshops, and career advancement opportunities, to foster employee growth and retention.
- Identify key skills gaps and development needs within the organization and collaborate with managers to address them effectively.
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being, such as wellness programs, employee recognition schemes, and feedback mechanisms.
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters and promoting a positive work culture.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop customized learning programs to address skill gaps and promote continuous development.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and adjust programs as needed to ensure maximum impact and ROI.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual capable of taking up this challenging opportunity to develop an ambitious project. Applicants should have a high degree of initiative, flexibility and should be open to intense interdisciplinary collaboration, first in an early-stage start-up but moving progressively to an efficient mid-size organisation.
Specifically, we will assess expertise in the following aspects:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master in Human Resources Management will be valued.
- Additional certifications or training in employer branding, talent development, or HR technology is advantageous.
- 4-8 years of experience in HR, with a focus on talent acquisition, employer branding, talent development, and HR digitalization.
- Demonstrated success in managing recruitment campaigns, developing talent programs, and implementing HR technology solutions.
- Good experience on international recruiting processes and big recruiting projects is an advantage.
- We expect high readiness to work with strong engagement and creativity in an interdisciplinary and international environment.
- Applicants should be fluent in English (both oral and written) and Spanish. Any other European languages will be a plus.
