Basquevolt explores means of collaboration with Japanese partners

In its quest to attract the best talent in the battery industry and establish collaboration frameworks with prestigious partners and institutions worldwide, Basquevolt has met this week with representatives of the Japan External Trade Organization - JETRO and the multinational HITACHI.

The Miñano-based company has two important milestones in 2023: the start-up of its R&D Centre and its Prototype Production Line, where the first battery with Basquevolt technology applicable to products will be manufactured. In this acceleration process, the company seeks to collaborate with the best suppliers of equipment for pilot lines and gigafactories in the world and, at the same time, to attract the most qualified talent in the international market, including countries such as Japan and Korea.

Basquevolt also wishes to maintain as its hallmark the high standards of sustainability on which it is based and therefore, to extend them to its collaborators, both in terms of the battery manufacturing process (which aims to minimise the CO2 footprint), as well as the recyclability of the batteries.
