Among them, the opening of the new R&D Center next April is particularly relevant for the company. It will be located in the former building of the Basque Formula 1 project, Epsilon Euskadi, in the Miñano Technology Park. These facilities will house both the company´s laboratories and the prototype line that will be able to manufacture 20Ah and 80Ah batteries in 2024.

In the words of Francisco Carranza, CEO of the company, “we are growing in talent, in developing our know-how with CIC energiGUNE and in broadening our international visibility. This allows us to continue advancing at high speed on our strategic milestones designed to make BASQUEVOLT the first European manufacturer of lithium solid-state batteries by 2027”.

An event that will undoubtedly revolutionize the automotive industry.
